We are halfway through winter, and somehow I have managed to stay in flares non stop. How is that? Never before have I managed it, I have regularly jumped straight back into the warmth of skinnies and boots the second the temperature drops but for some reason this season I have found it within myself to keep on going in flared style. How you ask? With the help of Christian Louboutin.
I bought these boots at least 4 years ago and they were not only reassuringly expensive but they have seen me several winters with warmth, rock solid sturdiness, and HEIGHT! The tall girls won’t need these but by god I do, and they elevate me to the height of my beloved Kate jean (the When Night Fell wash is my go to) perfectly, no need for alterations. And if it’s raining? I’m protected, the boots keep me warm and dry, even if my hems may suffer a little street splash. Small price to pay for the wonderful warm look of boots, flares, cosy jumpers and luxurious coats.
My other choice for a winter jean with boots if I want to switch things up is Dallas or Genevieve. And if you are taller than me, may I suggest the Joan. Heavenly.
