When a golden ticket complete with a pop-up disco ball hidden inside turns up in the post, you know it's something special. Last night Vogue held a spectacular golden themed party to celebrate Westfield London's 5th Birthday.
Donna Ida Thornton was invited by Vogue's editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman and I was her lucky plus one.
It's hard to believe that Donna Ida opened in The Village just 5 years ago, but in that time we've helped so many ladies to find their perfect pair of jeans in our dedicated Denim Clinic and taken part in Vogue's Fashion Playground event last year. This year though, the theme was golden, so we directed to the party, we walked down corridors lined with shimmering walls.
To mark the event, Alexandra Shulman and her Vogue team had created a Pop-Up Vogue Club on the mezzanine floor of the Village completely decked out in sumputuous decor with a golden Vogue style glossy dancefloor.
Glimmering disco balls set the party atmosphere where singer Grace Jones was set to play later in the evening.
The room was decorated with golden palm trees and retro artwork - what else would you expect from a chic Vogue party?
Celebrities flocked to the party including model Laura Bailey, shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood, Charlotte Olympia's Charlotte Dellal, swimwear designer Melissa Odabash, fashion designer Maria Grachvogel and actress Emilia Fox.

The drinks were achingly cool, we sipped Hix Fix - a Prosecco and cherry eau de vie blend plus By Word Of Mouth divine canapés. We also chatted to our favourite Vogue girls; online editor Dolly Jones was spotted wearing high-waisted flares and I'm pictured here with the delightful style editor at British Vogue Emma Elwick-Bates wearing a super chic white jacket.
