The History of Denim – How to Get the Look

Welcome to the Donna Ida Westfield Girl's blog. We will be going through the history of denim and showing you how to get the Donna Ida look.

1940s: Here is Joanna from Donna Ida in Westfield London wearing the Nobody High Boy in Ravage with the Local Kate Blouse in Haze.

For a 1950's style Jo wears the MiH Jeans Classic Shirt in Off White with the J Brand Bardot Skinny Jeans.

To create a 1960's style Jo has opted for wide leg Current/Elliott Navy Pant flares and a Beyond Vintage blouse.

Jo adds a floaty Joie blouse to the MiH Marrakesh in Real Blue for a 1970's look.

For a 1980's look Jo wears the Hudson Nico Jeans in Nebula and a Splendid tee.

To get a 1990's style Jo teams the Hudson Lou Lou Skinny with a Shine T-Shirt.

For a more recent look Jo wears the Mother Denim Looker Crop in Peppermint Kisses with a Joie Ghanna Blouse.

For an on-trend style Jo has teamed the J Brand 810 in Twisted Coral with a Pyrus XI Blouse in Coral topped with the Equipment Signature Blouse.
