DONNA IDA: Where are you from and where did you grow up?
I am from the countryside and a small town called Oakham in Rutlandshire, however I was always destined for the city! I said from the age of five to my parents that I would move to London and my personality is most certainly suited to city life.

I started modelling when I was three years old and have loved the camera ever since! After a few years out, I started again after finishing school and there was a lot of rejection which was initially hard to accept but I stuck it out and realised it was this rejection that would make me stronger. I started my blog just over two years ago and my website launched in August.
DONNA IDA: What inspired you to start your blog?
Like most girls, I have always loved clothes and fashion.. I am an absolute believer in quick fashion and keeping on trend so I would spend most (all) of my modelling money on clothes and shoes! I was on a TV commercial shoot and I was waiting for hours when I first had the idea for showing girls behind the scenes and the latest looks BEFORE they hit the shops - meaning even faster fashion!
DONNA IDA:What are your tips for taking a great photo?
Lighting... It is all about good lighting and a good (and sometimes patient) photographer of course! A good backdrop is also an essential - you might get a great shot and you might have a photo-bomber!
There is also a little app called Facetune too which you simply need to use (a bloggers secret), I don't care what anyone says, every girl has to have it!
DONNA IDA: Tell us about Fashion Week; what are your show highlights, what are you looking forward to and what are your survival tips?
My stand-out event was the Aspinal of London Show at Claridges, I have worked with them really closely over the past 12 months and we're currently working on an AmyNevFashionDiaries inspired bag which I can't wait to show you all!
DONNA IDA: What are your wardrobe essentials and how do you wear your jeans?
My wardrobe essentials are a good staple leather jacket, biker boots and a great pair of jeans! (DONNA IDA of course ;) ) A nude pair of heels too, perfect for styling up any outfit..
I am really into the off-duty, relaxed, dressed down look at the moment - think distressed boyfriend jeans and chunky boots.
DONNA IDA: Why do you think jeans are such an iconic item?
Jeans are a wardrobe essential due to their versatility, with different cuts, colours and an answer for every occasion. There is a jean for all shapes and sizes and ultimately its all about how you wear them too which means you can still demonstrate individuality.
DONNA IDA: Which are your favourite jeans from our shoot and why?
My favourite from today's shoot are most definitely the IDA Rizzo High Top Skinny in Blackest and they are simply a wardrobe MUST. They can be worn with anything which is a big selling point for someone like myself who likes to chop and change between looks and a high waisted cut is always flattering as all of us girls always want our legs to look longer :) The IDA Sadie the Boiler Suit is super cool and definately my FAVE piece from the whole collection and one of the first items I wanted to feature this season on ANFD.
DONNA IDA: Who is your denim icon?
It would have to be Victoria Beckham or Jessica Alba (my girl crush), they both rock the jeans look!
DONNA IDA: Where in the world are girls best dressed? What kind of style do you admire?
I would say L.A as I love the laid back, boho vibes ! The 'effortless look'... We're not too shabby here in London either though!
DONNA IDA: Describe your style highs and lows?
I would say my worst style years were the age of 16, I had 'Barbie' bleached blonde hair and used to cake on the make up and would wear all black!! This is certainly the reason I love anything colourful now making up for all of my dark years!
DONNA IDA: What’s your favourite restaurant?
My favourite restaurant is Novikov as I am a lover of pizza and all things Italian!
I am engaged to marry in Italy in 2018, a destination picked purely on food... ;)
DONNA IDA: Where’s your ultimate holiday destination?
I am so lucky with my job that I get to travel around the world but it's very different when you get to go on holiday.
It would have to be the USA! They have great shopping, food and people..
DONNA IDA: What is your favourite fashion magazine?
I know its cliche but mine still has to be 'VOGUE'.
I used to collect every edition as a young girl and I remember it seemed so expensive back then when I used to get £5 a week pocket money and it would wipe out my piggy bank!
DONNA IDA: What advice would you give to a younger you?
Be more confident!
I look back and wish I had been more confident and believed in myself - I went to so many castings when I first started modelling and I would walk straight out of because I didn't feel I was as good as the other girls. It sounds silly but I have always been insecure like most girls, as much as they probably don't admit it. I think the industry I am in can make you even more picky about yourself but you have to learn to love yourself (not in an arrogant, cocky way) but just be secure in who you are. I have learnt to be more content in who I am, my job is like working in sales but your selling yourself to clients so you have to appear confident even if you aren't. Also the minute you stop caring what others think you can be yourself and the best side of you will come out..
DONNA IDA: What’s next?
I want to continue to grow @amynevfashiondiaries, I am in the process of moving houses and I have a designated blogging room so there is going to be lots more to come, so keep your eyes peeled :)
