Kimberley Walsh: Blue Jean Girl

Girls Aloud Superstar Kimberley Walsh filmed a documentary with Sky TV called Blue Jean Girl. You see Kim set out on a journey across America to trace the history of jeans - she starts in San Franciso and visits the Levi's archive before heading out to the Rodeo. Kimberley then heads to LA where she visits Rock & Republic designers and takes a tour through manufacturing with Jeff Rudd from J Brand. While in LA she goes shopping with a stylist where her worst fears come to life and she can not find a pair of jeans that suit her shape. Kim has commented that in previous years shopping for jeans reduced her to tears and so she did not understand the public passion for all things denim.  I think the main reason she didn't find jeans she liked was because the stylist was showing her all the wrong styles for her body shape and her perception of herself. Had she come to Donna Ida for her jeans she may not have had the same soul-destroying experience. At Donna Ida we listen to what you don't like about your body and what you do like and help fit you in jeans that accentuate the good and hide the bad. We would love Kimberley Walsh to visit a Donna Ida store so we can show her that jeans shopping is not such an awful experience. we are sure we can help Kimberley find her perfect pair of jeans!

In the end, Kim found two (ONLY TWO?) perfect pairs. Ms. Walsh fell in love with True Religion Brand Disco Julie Jeans as well as Gap Boyfriend Jeans.
