Georgie Pincus flaunts the denim

I love everything about jeans and denim – to the point where I have more pairs than I’m willing to admit to. So, it came as no surprise to me when I fell for Donna Ida and her dedicated denim boutiques.

I’d actually first heard about Donna through a competition she ran with Grazia, then I cyber-stalked her on Twitter for a while. We finally met at the Stella McCartney show hosted by talented stylist Georgie Pincus last month, and last night we got to hang out again at one of Georgie’s new jeans clinics (the pair have teamed up for Georgie’s infamous StyleU trunk shows whereby she brings designer style to your doorstep).

Avril Groom from the FT's 'How to spend it' talks jeans with Georgie and Donna.

Together we gathered at Morton’s Club on Berkeley Square  to learn what jeans suited us best – and to try them on too (Goldsign, 7 for all mankind, James Jeans, oh my). For me, J-Brand’s shiny leggings turned out to be just the ticket (who’d of thought?). The ooohing and aaahing convinced me to make them mine and I couldn’t be happier. I’m going to pair them with my Tracey Neuls boots and a dark green peasant blouse I picked up at Zara. Delish.
