Donna's Hummus with Roasted Pepper and Celery Sticks Recipe

Hummus is super tasty but I like to perk it up with roasted peppers and serve it fresh.

This recipe calls for a Thermomix to get the right texture. This recipe makes quite a lot so split the hummus in half with someone else or have it two days in a row.
Donna's Hummus with Roasted Pepper and Celery Sticks Recipe
Ingredients:

One tin of chickpeas
One red pepper
Salt
Half a lemon
1 clove garlic
Olive oil 
Half a teaspoon smoked paprika powder

Method:

Slice pepper into large pieces and add to frying pan
Crush a piece of garlic and add that too
Gently roast the pepper on the hob and keep turning over

While the pepper is cooking…

Drain chickpeas into a Thermomix bowl
Add juice of half a lemon
Add half a teaspoon of smoked paprika
A sprinkle of salt
When the pepper is cooked, add to the chickpea mixture
Finish with olive oil
Mix in the Thermomix

Serving:

Serve with celery sticks
