Today I'm giving my top tips on beautiful shimmery body oils and body creams because it’s getting lighter and brighter as spring approaches. This blog will cover supplements you can take and products to use to give your skin a healthy glow.
Astaxanthin is an amazing supplement that I take every single day and it has a lot of fantastic properties. But what is most important, and why I take it, is that it’s why lobsters are red and flamingos are pink.
I take it every single day and it does give you a nice glow and a beautiful base. So when we do go into the sun, you are less likely to burn.
Tom Ford is really lovely and it smells gorgeous. It has a little bit of a coconut in it. I only use a tiny bit. I've used it for a couple of years now, it does give you a really nice, lovely shimmer, but it's an oil, so for me I get a little bit paranoid about my clothes.
I have this Dr. Sebagh body oil which also smells incredible, but is a little less oily. So, I actually prefer this. It's really light, it goes into your skin and I don’t feel so paranoid about this around my clothes. This is my top pick for if I was going to use an oil.
My friend Margot sent this to me like a week or two ago, and I thought ‘thanks very much’ and popped it in the shower.
After my shower last week, I got into the Organic Pharmacy Resculpting Body Serum. And it smells incredible, as everything from the Organic Pharmacy does. It’s so light, but it has the best, most subtle, gorgeous, but effective shimmer I have ever seen.
The packaging doesn’t scream ‘look at me, I'm going to make your shimmer’. But honestly, this is the one. It’s really amazing, nice, soft and light. I'm not even going to be remotely paranoid about my clothes. I can put it on everywhere. So, this would actually be my top tip for a little shimmer.
