I was born and raised just outside of London, England.

Tell us about yourself – how did you get into PR?
When I was 19 I started working for Joseph doing in-house PR. I then went on to start Halpern when I was 23. We create brand campaigns that make an impact.

Who are your style icons (past or present)?
I wouldn’t say I have a particular ‘style icon’ I’m more inspired on terms of a look. I follow a rock ‘n’ roll casual style so I love devouring current publications for the current look – but wouldn’t say one person embodies it.
“I’m addicted to leather pants. Burgundy is my choice of the season. I like an easy-to-wear versatile jacket to throw on last minute as I’m always running out of the door."

Where do you like to shop?
Clearly Donna Ida! It’s casual through to eveningwear and you’ll find jackets, scarves and t-shirts so it’s easy to shop. Otherwise, Matches or Harrods. I have very little time to shop so anywhere they can provide assistance or with good delivery!
“Colour is so important to me. It’s embodied in my home and style. I will always add a pop of colour whether it’s coloured shoes or coloured elbow patches…don’t live in muted colours.”

What is your best industry advice?
Be passionate. Be a great communicator. Be brave. Have intuition. Being ballsy is imperative. You’ve got to be able to take a risk. When you pick up the phone and ask directly 9 times out of 10 people will say yes.
