The DONNA IDA pre-AW18 ‘Iconic’ collection celebrates enduring timeless pieces in classic colours for a confident modern woman. The new range by Jean Queen Donna Ida Thornton which launches in June 2018 brings her vision of the high/low in fashion to life with beautiful tops and cashmere teamed with cool, edgy jeans for a contemporary look.

This contradictory view has defined the modern aesthetic with ready to wear pieces which are designed to capture the DONNA IDA girl’s mood – whether it is a fun flirty top that she will always feel confident in, or a cosy perfect weight cashmere jumper that she will keep picking up day after day.

The Iconic Brit in Love That Red, Aussie in Milk and American in Hello Sailor Intarsia Cashmere Jumpers £325 are bold and striking pieces featuring national flags. The classic shades of red, white and blue are balanced out by cool new denim shapes in vintage style washes.

Following the trend for detailed denim, Kitty Kat the High Top Mini Boot £195 in The Star of 70s Memphis features the classic DONNA IDA high rise, a 14 inch leg opening to kick out slightly at the hem and red stars embroidered on the right leg. Inspired by the 60s, Marianne the Raw Hem Midi Skirt in Beating the Blues £165 has a laid-back, boho feel in a soft, worn-in mid blue denim.

Cassandra the 70s Flared Jumpsuit in Moonlight £270 is a standout piece in the Iconic Collection with a retro feel featuring a traditional collar, with a V-neck design and zip- up front and waist adjusters to cinch in for a clean silhouette. Rose is the perfect mid-rise Cigarette Leg £165 style in First Light which works well for taller girls with a 33 inch leg or can be worn rouched at the ankle for a laid back feel. Best-selling style Sidney the High Top Cropped Straight Leg £165 in Milk has a 13 inch leg opening and an unfinished hem to wear with ankle boots, heels or flats.
