Last month we celebrated our birthday in style marking A Decade of Denim with a special new style called IDA Eliza the Relaxed Dungaree in Plum Jam and in this blog post we'll show you ways to style it. Donna opened her Chelsea boutique ten years ago and is pictured below on the day of the 10th Birthday with her very first customer Georgia Zaris outside the store.
The dungarees have been designed to encapsulate ten years of denim with a coated denim and an on-trend slouchy skinny profile. We were joined by our friends and influencers who all received a customised denim IDA Hold Me Tote Bag with purchase which was customised by Avery Dennison. Jean Queen Donna Ida Thornton also covered her Eliza Dungarees in patches for our pop-up at Soho Farmhouse and teamed it with the DONNA IDA Greta Blouse in black lace.
The dungarees are easy to wear as styled by Kelly Eastwood aka TheLondonChatter with a Bella Freud 1970 Jumper underneath and a pair of grey sneakers. Blogger duo and designers Hannah & Alice aka Belle & Bunty teamed their Eliza Dungarees with delicate blouses underneath finished off with statement bags and sunglasses. Get the Gloss's Susannah Taylor picked a lightweight knit to style underneath her dungarees whereas Tatler's Luciana Bellini added a sheer black lace camisole from Hanky Panky. Model Tess Montgomery and blogger Monikh Dale both added black to balance out the colour and finished off with casual flats. Chrissabella picked out a striped knit and Balenciaga bag to finish off her look and Arianna Trapani added a leather jacket to toughen the look up.
