I am a huge fan of boyfriend style jeans; they are my ‘go to’ style every Spring. They are such an easy and comfortable style plus even in the heat of Summer they will keep you nice and cool.
My best tip for wearing boyfriend jeans is not to wear anything too baggy on top as you will loose your shape instantly. I always suggest that ladies try to balance out the boyish look of the jeans with either a flirty blouse from Pyrus or Winter Kate. Or you could smarten them up with a great fitting blazer from IRO, Elizabeth and James or By Malene Birger.
It’s always a good idea to have a couple of belts that you love. Typically boyfriend jeans are low and slouchy so a belt will add a feminine touch and more importantly, you don’t want them to be falling down all day! I have two tan belts that I wear all Summer long; belting your boyfriend jeans will also help give the outfit more shape and depth. I love the new brand called B-Low The Belt, their belts are made from beautiful leather and are a great price. (coming soon)
The sexiest way to wear your boyfriend jeans is with plenty of ankle on show. I like to have about three inches of ankle, any less than this can make you look shorter. The great thing about this style is you can play around with the length by rolling them to suit your style and height. A ballet pump or a sandal looks great in the day and for evening a chunkier heel or shoe boot will look fabulous.
