Hilary Alexander interviews David Gandy for at The Industry London

I was beyond excited to be invited last week to attend class at The Industry where fashion guru Hilary Alexander interviewed male supermodel – the one and only David Gandy!
The event was held at Condé Nast College in Soho, the crowd was packed to the rafters with fashionistas including Harold Tillman, Bally’s creative director Michael Herz, designer William Tempest, fashion and celebrity stylist and Rebekah Roy in attendance.
Courtney Blackman, Managing Director of The Industry kicked off proceedings, looking fabulous in a pair of IDA jeans, William Tempest corset top and Azzedine Alaia shoes.
Refreshingly honest, and of course, every bit the dashing gent, David joked with Hilary that ‘The only way I did well at school was by cheating’ and that'I didn't have many girlfriends at university - I'm not sure what happened there'
When I chatted to David at the end of the talk, I asked him which jeans he liked to wear - his answer; 'Lucky jeans and vintage - I have a great pair I've had for years that I bought in America.' The old ones are always the best!
