So... Ever wondered what it's like to party with 17 of the most fabulous shop girls (and behind the scenes-of-the-shop girls) since shops were invented? Yes, that's right, I am talking about the Donna Ida staff Christmas Party, and Secret Squirrel has the insidescoop about exactly what went down, who got down on the dancefloor, and how much Moet went down our throats!
The evening began at Westbourne Grove tapas bar Pix where we consumed more food than you could imagine would fit into a pair of Current/Elliott leather skinnys. We highly recommend Pix for a girly night out. Not only is the food divine, but the waiters are pretty divine as well... There were very few glitches during dinner (apart from Jo getting paella on her purse, a dancing lobster, a waiter wearing no trousers and a vigilante mission to recover a missing handbag), and the night was a huge success, especially for those of us who didn't have to work the next day!
After our stomachs (and Jo's purse) were sufficiently lined with tapas and paella, we moved on to Supperclub to bust out our most amazing dance moves. And dance we did, until the wee small hours of the morning. I tell you, the Donna Ida girls know how to party...
