What does you current job involve?
As Manager of our boutique in Chelsea my main role is focused on running the store on a day-to-day basis. I ensure all customers are looked after and aim to build ongoing customer relationships. I help motivate my team and work together with all the girls in store.

What are your biggest achievements?
Moving to London and living in another country away from home is a big achievement for me. I didn't know anyone over here when I moved so finding my feet was tough. However, I have come a long way. Being manager of our Chelsea boutique is an achievement also. Every day is different and I love meeting new customers.

When/what was your big break?
My big break came when I moved to London. Being a girl from Melbourne I didn't quite know what to expect moving over with nothing but my suitcase. I've managed to succeed and grow within Donna Ida.

What is the best part of the job?
I have been with Donna Ida for 3 years now, and have always been attached to the Chelsea store which is the first Donna Ida boutiqueI have seen Donna Ida grow as a company and I am very excited that I have been involved in that process. I am proud to be the manager of the first Donna Ida boutique as it has become a cornerstone in the Brompton Cross retail landscape, and lI ook forward to what is to come for Donna Ida.

What is your past experience?
With 10 years of retail experience and a Fashion Degree from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. I moved from Melbourne and have been living in London for four years. I originally started out focusing on Design but love customer interaction on the shop floor.

What are your everyday essentials?
My everyday essentials are a pair of my favorite skinny jeans either from J Brand, Paige or Goldsign. Always teamed with flats and usually worn with a basic white t-shirt from LnA or Splendid. I can't go anywhere without my Stella McCartney scarf and a pair of Hanky Panky a day is a must!

What is your best industry advice?
Wash your denim in cold always! And buy jeans tight - they'll stretch.
