I met Elika Gibbs, the very unique and addictive owner of Practical Princess, about 5 minutes after I opened my first boutique on Draycott Avenue in Chelsea. The Jimmy Choo HQ was just around the corner and the girls there said I had to have Elika in my life - and they were right. She's an amazing stylist and organiser of lives. She is direct, clear thinking, and most of all practical. She doesn't do nonsense - I love her. Naturally someone like this is going to attract a fair bit of attention, and when a German production company approached her to document a day in the life of Elika Gibbs, she asked me to be her subject. I couldn't believe my luck! This was my chance to get Elika into my closet - something that had been high on my wish list for some time. She had quite the challenge but of course she was up to it. Here are some pictures of Elika at work.
