I was so excited when my gorgeous friend Dita asked me to accompany her to the Chanel show in Paris. We started with a fabulous lunch at Hotel Costes where we were staying, and then made our way to the venue. It was an extravaganza. Paris meets Bombay was the theme and the decoration and embellishment of the Grand Palais was unbelievable.
Opulent, decadent, and all the glamour you would expect from Chanel. The clothes, bags, shoes and accessories were truly exquisite. Amazing attention to detail and beautiful styling. We were seated in a front row banquet surrounded by delectable goodies and champagne. A true runway feast.
My J Brand leathers and red McQueen "couture" style jacket and Chanel bag stood up to the French style test and after a quick spot of retail and a quick change into a party frock we went for a drink at the Hemingway bar at the Ritz. The Indian theme continued at a fun after show dinner party and we laughed and chatted into the early hours.
