DONNA IDA AW17 1973 Knitwear Collection

Donna Ida Thornton’s 1973 Collection has been inspired by the year she was born with a fresh take on a retro look.

Cashmere is essential for the DONNA IDA look with the best-selling Be Bonnie fitted jumper with a 3/4 length sleeve in Milk and Luxe Charcoal for AW17 which can be layered over silk blouses in the cooler weather.

Game On in Love That Red adds a burst of primary colour with a sports-inspired white and navy edge to the scoop neck shape. Continuing the theme, the That’s Not Cricket v-neck cashmere jumper is a loose, flattering shape in Milk with a contrast edge for a hint of sports-luxe.

The trend for ruffle detail pulls through to the cashmere collection with Friller creating a preppy, fun style in French Break with a hint of red adding a nautical element to the classic look.

The polo neck Hepburn Ruffle in Mid Town has a frill design on the neckline to add interest to a classic shape.

The Devil’s In The Detail Jumper in Noir Army has a black contrast ruffle along the arms to team with skinny jeans.

Vibrant colours inspired by the 70s disco look feature on the off the shoulder Studio 54 Jumper in Noir Rainbow with stripes on the arm

On Stage, the 3/4 sleeve sweater is emblazoned with multi coloured lurex stars called Rainbow Luxe and a classic black and silver combination Noir Stars.
