American Retro

American Retro is in fact a French label, founded in Paris in 2002 by David and Gregory Pariente. Their collections feature colourful palettes that effuse radiant energy and a young spirit. The founders love the look and Western romance of American denim and wanted to add some French flair. The idea behind American Retro is to create looks for jeans because "jeans will always be a constant in the wardrobe," says creative director David. Think intricate embroidery, crochet knits, retro inspired prints, and and specialty cashmeres.
