Team, last week I travelled to New York to show the AW23 collection to US buyers. Here’s my style notes from the trip.
Flying Skinnies
I travelled in Rizzo Skinny Jeans, outbound was the grey shade Undercover and on the way back, Rizzo in Fawcett Blue. I teamed them with my chunky Chanel boots and a simple black jumper.
Gayle Styles
I finally caught up with my friend and stylist Gayle Perry @gaylestyle. Gayle wears Dolly the Flight Suit in Midnight Mission with trainers for a chic and comfy look.
Shades of Grey
Cassandra Jumpsuit in The Last Embers is a new wash requested by Trish McEvoy. She launched during my trip and so I wore this on day one.
I also packed Hilda in Lightning Strike which I styled with a belt, Christian Louboutin platform boots and a black poncho.
Travel Hair
I can make a Salon Sloane blow dry last a week. Don’t brush it, just pat it and accept the bird’s nest vibes.
NYC Hotel
I stayed at The Mark Hotel on East 77th Street who served the best food including a surprise heart shaped cookie on Valentine’s Day.
Shopping
I popped by Anne Bing for the most perfect light grey chunky knit and I picked up new yoga pieces from Alo.
Top Snacks
I have to say the chai with pistachio milk from Sant Ambroeus was my favourite and I also face planted the mac and cheese at Balthazar.
Beauty Goodies
I always travel with my stash of Trish McEvoy finished off with Jones Road Beauty Mascara.
Street Style
I love the people watching in New York and this beautiful lady in pink gave me SATC vibes.
