If you have slim legs, a smaller behind and carry extra weight around your middle, you’re probably an apple shape. Apple shaped women will have the legs to carry off slim jeans, but are probably looking to disguise their larger waist and tummy.
How to wear it
The goal here is balance, that is, to make your torso look longer and make your shoulders and waist appear slimmer. We want to draw attention away from your tummy and onto your slim legs. Try jeans that have a flat front and with a rise that is lower than your natural waist, avoid tucks and button up jeans as they will probably add bulk onto your tummy area.
There should be plenty of stretch in the apple women's jeans; typically you will look best in a stretchy straight leg style, with a mid or low-rise waist. Wider or double button waistbands are often a great choice as they will help tuck the tummy without cutting you in half. As you may have a smaller, flatter bottom you should look at jeans with back pockets that have flaps and this will make you look like you have a bigger, curvier rear.
Some apple-shape women can try higher-waisted jeans - the rise should be high enough to give you a bit of a tummy tuck. In particular Not Your Daughter's Jeans or the J Brand Major are great high-waisted styles for apple shapes.
