Print Injection

Angela wears: Tucker Polo Blouse and Rag & Bone Legging in Goetz.

“I teamed the Goetz jean with statement red accessories to lift the pastel colours of my outfit. These jeans are great fun for Summer and would work equally well on holiday with a pair of sandals and a simple tee.”

Colour Pop

Angela wears: J Brand 811 Skinny Jeans in Blue Bonnett.

“I absolutely love leopard and collect new pieces every season. Here I am wearing an Alexander McQueen coat and Aläia shoes. To make leopard look current this season it’s fun to pop in a bright coloured jean.”

Rock ‘n’ Roll Red

Angela wears: By Malene Birger Judia Jacket and J Brand 811 Skinny Jeans in Blood Orange.

“My men’s Givenchy tee ties in with these bright orange jeans and I added statement shoes and a hat to give the outfit a little edge. I’m loving blue and white striped tees at the moment that would also look fab with these jeans teamed with a leather biker jacket."

Mod Luxe

Angela wears: J Brand 810 Skinny Jeans in Vintage Black Widow and an Equipment Signature Blouse.

“These houndstooth jeans are classic with a punky mod feel which I love and you can wear them all year round. On cooler days I team them with my fur jackets and a simple tee.”

Where are you from?

I was born in New Zealand but have lived in Europe for the past 25 years modelling in Paris, Milan, New York and London. I met my husband in London and we had our son Maximus in 2003.

How did you get into modelling?

I started in Tokyo after being asked to do some runway shows there. Whilst in Tokyo I was scouted and signed with agencies in Paris, London and New York, so from there I started travelling the world modelling.

What was your big break?

I would say working for Yves Saint Laurent, who I continued to work with for 7 years.

Where in the world are people best dressed?

Paris – I think the young girls look cool and edgy and the older ladies look effortlessly chic and elegant. Being well dressed is second nature to the Parisians.

Describe your personal style?

My style is quite simple. I like solid colours and clean lines. I favour more masculine tailoring than a feminine silhouette and I like to mix it up a lot. I would say my style is high/low; a classic silhouette with a combination of uptown and downtown pieces. I always like to wear a statement piece, whether it’s an accessory, a piece of jewellery or a great coat or jacket just to give my look a fashion edge.

Who are your style icons?

I always take little bits of inspiration from different people, but at the moment I am loving the style of Emmanuelle Alt and Carine Roitfeld. My friends also provide me with constant inspiration in the way they style themselves.
