Donna Ida: What are your key pieces for SS15?

Stefanie: For me SS15 is fresh, it will be reflected in my wardrobe with lots of light, bright tones and white denim with a distressed look to give it a slightly tougher edge.

Donna Ida: What is your go-to style for jeans?

Stefanie: My denim style staple has to be the skinny jean - normally in a dark blue/black wash to give an alternative to solid black. You just can’t go wrong.

Donna Ida: Are you Team High (high waist denim) or Team Low (low waist denim)?

Stefanie: Team High all the way - makes me feel more confident.

Donna Ida: What is your take on this season’s new denim shape – the flare?

Stefanie: I’m excited that its back. Retro 70’s flares are extremely flattering and give the illusion of a longer leg - they're a girl’s best friend.  I must admit, it does take a touch of confidence to pull off a new denim shape - but once people see how great flares look there will be no stopping everyone.

Donna Ida: Who is your style icon?  Where do you get style inspiration from?

Stefanie: I think my style icon depends on my mood and what look I’m trying to achieve that day. Olivia Palermo always looks chic and very well put together - I admire that. Amber Le Bon was rocking some pretty fantastic looks for the runways this season too.

Donna Ida: Which pieces from the AW15 collections that were shown on the catwalks are already on your wish list?

Stefanie: Bora Aksu’s collection was really beautiful, but Erdem really shone. The textures and colour palettes were to die for.

Donna Ida: Which was your favourite piece from the Style Insider shoot and why?

Stefanie: My favourite piece had to be the IDA Ella denim skirt. Sexy, chic and perfect for the summer.

Donna Ida: Can you let us in on any style tips you have acquired from your travels?

Stefanie: When travelling keep it as light as possible and take fabrics which don’t require too much maintenance. There’s nothing worse then pulling out a crumpled silk number after you've travelled and you’re wanting to go out looking your best.

Donna Ida: Where in the world has the best street style?

Stefanie: London for sure! We have such a mix of cultures and styles. The people aren’t afraid to express themselves and what they want to portray. Everyone has fun with their look which is what fashion is really about.

Donna Ida: From your blog posts, fashion and travel seem to go hand in hand, where will you be visiting this summer?

Stefanie: I’m definitely going to be making a visit to Fashion One’s studio in the Philippines - it’s the perfect location for shooting and relaxing as the weather and scenery is amazing. Tokyo is also at the top of my hit list.

Donna Ida: What are your beauty tips for spring?

Stefanie: Let your skin breathe. Foundations can be too heavy after the colder months. It’s important to get fresh air to your face. bareMinerals do a gorgeous complexion rescue which gives a hint of colour whilst keeping it natural - makeup must have!

Donna Ida: What’s it like reporting from the front line?  Do you get a real buzz?

Stefanie: I adore my job; it really is my dream career. It’s the most exciting when you’re at a live event and you have just moments to get the shot or interview you need. The pressure certainly is on most of the time but I personally thrive in that environment.

Donna Ida: What fashion tips have you picked up from interviewing the fashion insiders?

Stefanie: Always be confident in your choices. Never go with an outfit or a look just because someone else has told you too. What you wear is a reflection of your personality, so if you don’t feel comfortable you will never look or feel right.

Donna Ida: How do you prepare for red carpet interviews?

Stefanie: I ensure I’m familiar with who I’m interviewing that day and what the celebrity has been involved in recently - that way it's easy to get the conversation flowing. I try to have as much fun as possible and just take it as it comes.

Donna Ida: What’s next for you?

Stefanie: I’m currently working on a new series called Fashion Underground… I’ll let your imagination run wild with what it is as I’m not allowed to tell just yet but it will be airing on Sky and Freesat later in the year. I’ve been on Hoxton Radio a few times as well which has been an amazing experience so watch (or listen to) this space.

Donna Ida: And finally can you reveal any hidden London gems to us?

Stefanie: This is tough as there are just SO many - in fact whilst shooting with Donna Ida in Belgravia I came across the most beautiful pink cupcake store Peggy Porschen across the street. Perfect for a red velvet treat and afternoon tea.

With thanks to Stefanie Jones x
